We want to see our students grow physically, so athletic programs at Still Creek Christian Academy are an important part of the overall education we provide. Apart from the obvious physical benefits of athletics, sports develop important character traits such as discipline, sportsmanship, responsibility, work ethic, and perseverance.
Our students compete in TCAL (Texas Christian Athletic League) athletics with other schools in the area in cross country, volleyball, basketball, track & field, and tennis. All students, regardless of athletic ability, experience the excitement and joy of athletic competition. Student athletes at Still Creek are winners the moment they arrive for practice, put on a uniform, or step onto the court. At Still Creek, we define winning by the effort and desire displayed for success.
Still Creek Christian Academy has outstanding men and women Christian coaches who teach our students the skills to play the game, but more importantly, help them learn the valuable lessons that can be applied throughout their lives. Students are encouraged to use their athletic skills according to Colossians 3:23-24, “And whatsoever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance, for you serve the Lord Jesus Christ.”
